From Blog to Brand: The Story of style.life.home and the Journey to
Curate Interiors

Every brand has a beginning. Mine started over 20 years ago — not with a grand business plan or a clear roadmap, but with a simple blog called style.life.home.

It was a creative space where I shared what I loved most: STYLE — from fashion (we had two fashion stores in Northern NSW at the time) to the way a beautiful home can make you feel; LIFE — filled with rituals like skincare, yoga, coffee, and slow moments that make everyday living feel intentional; and HOME — the place I’ve always felt most connected to. A homebody at heart, I found joy in curating and designing spaces that felt like sanctuaries.

That passion turned into something more. Over the years, style.life.home evolved into Curate Interiors — a full interior design studio and curated lifestyle store. I’ve had the absolute honour of designing homes with clients all over Australia — from new builds to renovations and bespoke styling projects. Along the way, my work has been featured in beautiful publications, including front covers of interior magazines — milestones I never imagined when I first began sharing from my laptop all those years ago.

There was a moment not too long ago when I thought it might be time to let it go — to close the doors, step away, and move on. But the truth was, the story wasn’t over. It was just beginning again.

Curate Interiors has become more than I ever dreamed — a space for connection, creativity, and storytelling through design. And now, there’s a whole new chapter ahead.

I’m calling it the Modern Muse Era — a season of soulful elevation, creativity without limits, and spaces that reflect who we are now. It’s about doing design differently — blending heart with purpose, and helping others feel inspired to live beautifully in their own homes.

So, thank you — for following this journey, for walking alongside it, for cheering it on. Whether you’ve shopped in store, booked a design project, attended a workshop, or followed along online — you’ve been part of what makes Curate so special.
